Nightsister Sith Witch Vby ~StungunMoy

Artisan Crafts / Costumery

Costume: Nightsister Sith Witch of Dathomir from the Star Wars Universe.

Materials: Anything and everything. And no, those are not real bones

I shaped polymer clay into bones, and hand painted each one with various colors and paints to get that juicy bone look. Plaster bandages were used for the base of the headdress, and there is an elastic band attaching the bones that meet near the jaw line so that I can actually open my mouth without breaking it! I didn't actually start building the fabric aspect of the costume until about a year of gathering every type of black material I could collect from remnant bins and various locations of salvage. It is real leather, however, incorporated into the costume. I used various processes to age the fabric. Alpaca hair was used for the headdress hair, as well as synthetic human hair. I also dreaded several strands of alpaca hair.

My now fiance got me into SWG. I really enjoyed playing, I played for nearly 2 years before the end. After the announcement, the GMs did a special event I think on Talus (Flurry server). They said whichever group made it to the end of the maze (filled with many difficult NPCs from instances and all planets) first got a special prize. They ended up giving gifts to several groups. The prize was that we got to pick any item we wanted. Any crystal that was no longer available, anything from the trading card game, etc. We just couldnt ask for credits. Anyway, I picked the nightsister armguard

I loved having my sith character wear the nightsister gear. Then later on in the game, they made old, rare items (including the armguard) easily lootable from mobs that would randomly spawn on different planets
